Vanilla Beans
Vanilla beans are the long, thin seed pods of the vanilla orchid plant, prized for their sweet aroma and flavor, widely used in cooking and baking. The two main species of vanilla beans are Vanilla planifolia and Vanilla tahitensis.
Vanilla planifolia, also known as Bourbon vanilla, is the most common variety, and Indonesia is the second-largest producer of vanilla beans in the world, after Madagascar. We offer a premium selection of vanilla beans, carefully graded to meet various culinary needs. Our Grade S and A beans are ideal for direct use due to their rich aroma and moisture content, while our Grade B and Grade C beans are perfect for making vanilla extracts, pastes, and vanilla ground powder.
At “Djava Vanilla Harvest Co.,” we grow our own vanilla in self-managed plantations spanning over 50,000 square meters in Java Island, Indonesia. This gives us full control over the cultivation process, ensuring consistent quality and traceability, while minimizing external risks and uncertainties.

Cinnamon
Cinnamon is a highly aromatic spice derived from the inner bark of trees in the Cinnamomum genus. There are two main types of cinnamon: Ceylon cinnamon, known for its delicate, citrusy flavor and lighter color, and Cassia cinnamon, which is stronger, spicier, and darker in color. Ceylon cinnamon is primarily grown in Sri Lanka, while Cassia cinnamon, including the Indonesian variety, is grown in Indonesia, China, and Vietnam.
Indonesian Cassia cinnamon is particularly prized for its robust, aromatic flavor and high oil content, making it perfect for both baking and savory dishes. It has a bold, intense profile that adds warmth and depth to any recipe.
Our Cassia cinnamon is sourced from one of the largest producers in Sumatra, Indonesia, and regularly exported to international markets, including the USA. This ensures a consistent supply of high-quality cinnamon that meets global standards. By sourcing from a leading producer, we guarantee reliability, quality, and a premium product trusted by chefs and consumers worldwide.
Nutmeg
Nutmeg, derived from the seed of the tropical evergreen tree Myristica fragrans, is celebrated for its fragrant and slightly nutty flavor profile. This versatile spice is a common ingredient in both sweet and savory dishes, often combined with cinnamon, cloves, and allspice to elevate its aromatic qualities.
Nutmeg undergoes meticulous grading processes to ensure quality, with classifications such as ABCD, SS (Sound Shriveled), and BWP (Broken, Wormed, Punctured) delineating different qualities.
Our nutmeg product is classified as Non-Mycotoxin, indicating that it adheres to the maximum limits set by regulatory authorities in Europe, Japan, and the United States. This affirmation underscores our dedication to delivering nutmeg of exceptional quality that meets stringent safety standards, instilling confidence in our consumers.
